Over the past few years, our battle against global health threats has taken a critical turn, driven by groundbreaking technology and international collaboration. The challenge now is, can we leverage innovation to combat noncommunicable diseases and accelerate health emergency preparedness in developing countries? In the World Health Organization, you will dive deeper into the use cases of technology to manage and prevent noncommunicable diseases, exploring solutions that could save millions of lives. You will also be able to address the urgent need to prepare developing countries for health emergencies, ensuring they can effectively respond to crises and protect their citizens. We need your innovative thinking, policies, and strategies to shape the future of global health, and your solutions will guide how the world addresses these critical health issues!

Navya Aenugu & Varun Rajan

Navya is a third year studying Brain-Computer Interface and Innovation in Business. Navya has been doing MUN since eighth grade, and she especially loves meeting new people and hearing new perspectives during MUN conferences. Navya is always excited to hear anything and everything related to technology and healthcare, whether it be for creating futuristic solutions or testing random things. Outside of MUN, Navya loves working in the startup space and working on random creative endeavors. She is beyond excited to meet everyone at UVA this year!

Varun Rajan is a second-year majoring in Aerospace Engineering and minoring in Computer Science. Varun is really interested in global policy and is excited to chair this committee. Outside of MUN, he enjoys lifting weights and playing and watching basketball. Varun has a year of experience in MUN and is super excited to continue the next four years!
